We help active people recover from training and injuries

Cryotherapy – Infrared Sauna – NormaTec Compression -Red Light Therapy – Massage – Assisted Stretching – and More . I want to share with you my knowledge and experience of staying physically active & healthy after 20 years of running. This is why I created Athlete Recovery Room.

Our Team

Dario

Dario is our newest team member and massage therapist.  He has a passion for sports, especially tennis and soccer. He previously coached youth tennis players with his dad. Favorite massage technique is deep tissue. His favorite recovery other than massage is Normatec. 

Gwen

Gwen (Gigi) has been with us since Oct 2024. She’s been doing massage therapy for over 8 years and holds many massage certifications, including cupping. Her favorite massage technique is pin and stretch. She did cheer and dance in high school. Her favorite recovery is NormaTec Compression. 

Christina

Christina has worked with us for one year. She is a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and enjoys wrestling. She competes in several no-gi competitions throughout the year. Her favorite recovery is Normatec compression and Infrared Sauna, especially after training.

​You can count on my team and me to do the research and provide great advice for your recovery needs, to help you have a better quality of life and be a healthier happier athlete. If I can’t help you, I have a great network of professionals who love helping people. I believe recovery is one of the most underutilized tools of many athletes. Our philosophy at Athlete Recovery Room is to address recovery proactively before you experience any issues or pain.

My passion for endurance running started over 10 years ago while running with MarathonFest, a half and marathon training program organized by Track Shack (Orlando’s best running store and resource). I am a Certified Road Runners Club of America Coach, for over 9 years. Precision Nutrition (Pn) certified nutrition coach. I also have a Certification in Stretching and Flexibility with Advanced Application of Assisted Stretching Techniques. In my running career, I’ve run 51 marathons, including a double marathon (Saturday and Sunday). So I know a lot about recovery and its importance. I’m a UCF graduate. Go, Knights!! My team and I look forward to helping you with your recovery needs.
